Free Knit Stitch for Eyelet Ribbons.

▶ Pattern: one-sided, versatile.
Due to the narrow lace stripes, it beautifully elongates the figure vertically 😉
▶ Skill level: ** (knit, purl, yarn over)
▶ Main pattern: number of stitches is a multiple of 12 + 6 + 2 edge stitches.
Knit according to the chart, which shows only the right-side rows. In wrong-side rows, knit the stitches as they appear, and purl the yarn overs.
Work rows 1 and 2 once, then repeat rows 3–24.
In the 1st row, due to the yarn overs, 2 stitches are added in each repeat — take this into account when calculating your stitch count.
▶ Use: cardigans, pullovers, shawls, scarves, cowls, socks.
▶ Yarn: cotton, wool, acrylic, or polyamide — in any combination, with a classic twist.
In this example, cotton yarn was used for clarity.

Knitting Symbols:
- [ ] = 1 knit stitch
- [—] = 1 purl stitch
- [O] = 1 yarn over
- [/] = Knit 2 stitches together (often abbreviated as k2tog)
- [\] = Slip 1, knit 1, pass slipped stitch over (often abbreviated as skp or ssk for a left-leaning decrease)
- (Full description: “1 stitch slip as if to knit, knit 1, and pass the slipped stitch over”)
- [ ] (looks like two “boxes” with a horizontal line in the middle and a vertical line cutting through the middle box) = Cable stitch:Slip 2 stitches onto a cable needle and hold in front of work, knit 2, then knit the 2 stitches from the cable needle.
- (This creates a 2/2 Front Cable, meaning 2 stitches crossed over 2 stitches, leaning to the left when viewed from the front)

I came here because the link I followed indicated that it lead to the instructions. I would LOVE to see how to make this lacy cable stitch. But it looks like the only way to do that is to join instagram. 🙁 Is that true?
No, it’s not true.
