I wondered how the twist stitch is made, given it isn’t described here. However I found instructions under another stitch that uses the same symbol:

Instructions for the Twist2Right (Tw2R):
K2tog, leave on needle. With right needle, insert between 2 stitches just worked and knit first stitch again. Slip off needle.
