Leaf, Cable, Rope and Lace Knitting Stitch
1 (RS): *p3, k5, p3, k5; repeat from * to last 3 sts, p3
2 and all even numbered rows: Work stitches as they present themselves. That means to knit the stitches that look like knits, purl the stitches that look like purls, and purl all yarn overs.

sk2p = slip 1 st to rt needle, k2tog, Pass slipped stitch over the k2tog. Left leaning double decrease.
sm = slip marker
